Hi, my name is Faith!

When I'm not involved in event meetings, creating timelines, or coordinating weddings, I work as a barista at Ascend Coffee in Castleton/Indianapolis. Since 2023, I've been a full-time member of the Ascend team, where I serve coffee and manage all catering and event operations in a space that feels like home. This role, alongside an incredible team, has given me the flexibility to pursue other hospitality dreams, including my passion for wedding coordination for the greater Indianapolis area.

After moving from Bryan, Texas to Indianapolis in 2019, I enrolled in Ivy Tech’s Hospitality program. I graduated in 2022 with an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Administration and a technical certificate in Event Management from Ivy Tech’s downtown Indianapolis campus. During my studies, I discovered a deep love for the hospitality industry, and the more I learned about its many facets, the more I realized there were several areas I might want to explore post-graduation. However, after completing my internship with the events team at Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indy, I found my true passion in event planning and coordination.

Upon graduation, I began working at Ascend and soon was encouraged from friends to pursue wedding coordination on my own. In the summer of 2023, a sweet friend hired me for my first independent wedding, which marked the beginning of my journey into wedding coordinating. Since then, I’ve never looked back!
